Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced SEO/Content Marketing Lead to join our digital agency.

As the Lead, you should have a strong grasp of current SEO tools and strategies, and be able to lead integrated SEO projects from concept to execution. As part of our team, you will work with the larger marketing agency team to deliver monthly improvements as promised and proposed.

You will be responsible for all SEO activities, ranging from technical SEO, outreach SEO, On-page/Off-page SEO, link-building, and SEO marketing automation.

You will also be involved in developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions for our clients. You will lead a team of content creators, manage the content production process, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content integration across various channels, while contributing to social posts and communities and
ultimately, crafting interesting and well-researched content that drives traffic and turns visitors into buyers.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of content marketing best practices, is highly creative, and possesses strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct keyword research, analyze search trends, and identify target keywords to optimize content for search engines.
● Monitor and report on keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO metrics.
● Implement on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, headers, and
content structure.
● Develop and execute off-page SEO tactics such as link building, outreach, and
social media amplification.
● Use industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Moz, SEMrush) to track and analyze performance metrics.
● Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend
adjustments to improve results.

Content Strategy and Planning

● Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define content goals, target
audience, and key messaging.
● Develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with clients' business
objectives and digital marketing plans.
● Develop and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies aligned
with client goals and target audiences.
● Lead a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and support to
ensure the production of high-quality and engaging content.
● Conduct research and audience analysis to identify content opportunities and
key messaging themes.
● Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate the clients product’s core benefits properly and consistently
● Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for content optimization, leveraging Google Analytics, HubSpot and other social media analytics tools

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
● Proven experience in content marketing, preferably in a digital agency or similar environment, at least 4 years of experience.

Relevant Experience

● Strong understanding of content marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Proficient in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and analytics
● Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership.
● Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
