We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to closing deals for our digital and creative agencies; targeting the African and Global Market.

Responsibilities

LEAD GENERATION AND OUTREACH:
● Proactively identify and target potential clients who need digital and creative services and training.
● Initiate contact through various channels, including but not limited to email, phone calls, social media and physical meetings.
● Engage with prospects to understand their needs and pain points.

LEAD QUALIFICATION:
● Evaluate prospects to determine their fit as potential customers.
● Gather essential information about the prospect's business, goals, and challenges.
● Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria.
● Conduct fact-finding and discovery meetings with prospects.
● Establish rapport and build relationships with potential clients.
● Prepare prospects for upcoming meetings, ensuring they are well-informed about our services and price range
● Update the CRM tool with potential prospects with easy follow through.

PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND PRESENTATION
● Develop tailored proposals to solve client’s problems and meet their marketing objectives
● Create compelling and persuasive presentations for clients.
● Develop project budgets based on client requirements and company pricing guidelines.
● Present proposals and solutions to prospects.
● Address and handle objections as they arise during discussions.

COMMERCIALS AND CLIENT NEGOTIATION
● Engage in negotiations with clients to finalize project budgets and terms.

● Ensure the profitability of proposed solutions.

SCOPE OF WORK DOCUMENTATION
● Define clear and comprehensive scope of work (SOW) for each project or retainer
● Develop service-level agreements (SLAs) to establish performance expectations.
● Ensure alignment between client expectations and deliverables.

CLOSING AND INVOICING
● Guide prospects through the closing process, ensuring a seamless transition to becoming a client.
● Finalize project details, including timelines and deliverables.
● Manage invoicing and payment processes, ensuring timely payments.

ONBOARDING AND CLIENT RELATIONS
● Facilitate a smooth transition by handing over closed deals to account managers and ensuring they understand the deliverables of the retainer/project.
● Collaborate with account managers in exceptional cases that require your expertise in client relations.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience within a digital or integrated marketing agency.
● Experience selling digital and creative services is a MUST.
● Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
● Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools like Apollo, Lusha, LinkedIn Navigator, Mailchimp
