Yogurt Frenzy is an international Frozen Yogurt franchise that wants to improve the health of kids and adults by serving great tasting, high quality, low fat and healthy soft-serve frozen yogurt and smoothies all over the world. They recently opened a number of Yogurt cafes in Lagos, Nigeria.
Alex, their brand manager approached Intense to help them boost sales in their Law School, Mega plaza and Karimu Kotun, Victoria Island branches in Lagos. He also wanted an increase in subscribers on their social media channels like Facebook and Twitter
Intense came up with a social media competition where happy customers took pictures with their cups of Yogurt Frenzy and uploaded it on Social Media. The picture with the highest likes won a high end smart phone. Yogurt Frenzy also gave out free cups of yogurt to fans online that could answer questions about the product and brand. iPublicizeNaija, our social media marketing Company; spear-headed the campaign on twitter and facebook by driving fans to Yogurt Frenzy’s landing page that contained the details of the competition.
Yogurt Frenzy experienced an increase in the number of cups sold due to increased awareness on Social media. Number of subscribers and engagement rates also increased on their social media channels as more people talked positively about their yogurt and the brand. Yogurt Frenzy was able start a database of fans online and has started communicating updates and promotions to them by email newsletter.
